The Houston County Arts Council, Incorporated (HCAC) is a 501(c)(3)non-profit corporation and was formed in 2006 with the purpose of providing quality theatre, music, art, dance, etc. experiences for the Houston County area. HCAC is fully staffed by local volunteers. While our volunteers and supporters are from all ethnic backgrounds, ages and careers, they are united by the love of the arts and a passion for providing uplifting cultural experiences for the Houston County area.
Houston Co. Arts Council, Inc. was created to develop, expand and promote community interest and appreciation of the arts including theatre, music and, dance performance and instruction as well as visual arts display and instruction. HCAC will reach out to neighboring communities that are underserved in the area of fine arts through providing low cost or no cost exhibits and performances in neighboring communities.
Mission
